On the morning of April 8th, the colorful flags and banners of the 800000 tons/year ethylene project site of Sinopec Group Wuhan were fluttering, and the crane boom was inserted into the blue sky. The first lifting ceremony of the large-scale equipment for Wuhan ethylene and supporting projects, which was managed by the integrated general contracting of Sinopec Group's Tenth Construction Company, was held grandly at the construction site. The XGC28000 crawler crane of XCMG Group was put into use as the main lifting machine during the first lifting ceremony and fully applied to the lifting of large equipment in this project.

The equipment used for the first hoisting ceremony is the first distillation tower C-101, which is 78.168 meters high and 3.8 meters in diameter. At 9:17, with all the preparations being carried out and the lifting conditions fully met, the first lifting ceremony officially began with the command of the lifting commander. The machines roared at the ceremony site, and all construction operations were carried out in an orderly manner. The XGC28000 crawler crane, in close cooperation with the 300 ton tail crane, smoothly lifted the first distillation tower onto the equipment foundation, and the entire ceremony ended safely, smoothly, and satisfactorily.

The 800000 tons/year ethylene and supporting project of Sinopec Group Wuhan is the first large-scale project approved by the National Development and Reform Commission to be constructed in the central region of China. It is a landmark major engineering project for the country to adjust its industrial layout. The completion of this project is an important step towards improving the layout of China's ethylene industry and enhancing the expansion of the petrochemical industry from the east to the central and western regions; Improving the layout of China's ethylene industry, adapting to the market demand for petrochemical products in the central region, and enhancing the safety of the petrochemical industry will have important strategic significance.
